CAOHC Certification/Recert 2023
Occupational Hearing Conservation course includes lectures, examinations, and hands-on practical workshop sessions that cover hearing testing, otoscopic screenings, & hearing protection fitting. This training complies with OSHA, MSHA and FRA requirements for personnel conducting audiometric testing.

About the Event
One registration per person (even though it gives you the option of more "tickets"- it does not allow for further details about the next person).
These courses are approved by the Council for Accreditation in Occupational Hearing Conservation (CAOHC) for certification as an Occupational Hearing Conservationist. Participants who complete the three-day program and pass the examinations will be eligible for CAOHC certification. Those seeking re-certification who complete the eight (8) hour refresher class and pass the examinations will receive documentation of re-certification.
WHO SHOULD ATTEND
Occupational health nurses, physicians, audiometric technicians, industrial hygienists, audiologists involved in HCP, managers & other health and safety personnel. There are no prerequisites.
CURRICULUM
After successfully completing this course, the participant will be eligible to become a certified Occupational Hearing Conservationist (OHC) with the following abilities:
conduct valid hearing tests
check performance & maintain hearing test equipment
implement an employee referral system
provide employee training & education
properly fit & troubleshoot hearing protection
develop accurate record keeping
understand State & Federal regulations
participate on a hearing conservation team
comprehend basic principles of noise measurement & control
COST
- Certification $700 registration on/before 4/18/2023 for April 24-26, 2023 Course
- Recert $450 registration on/before 04/20/2023 for April 26, 2023 Course
- Late Certification $800 registration on/after 4/19/2023 for April 24-26, 2023 Course
- Late Recert $500 registration on/after 04/21/2023 for April 26, 2023 Course

Full certification- 3 days April 24-26: Registered before 7 days prior to class (on/prior to 04/18/2023). Includes lunch, $100 CAOHC fee and notebook.

Recertification- 1 day April 26, 2023: Registered before 1 week prior to class (prior/on 4/20/2023). Includes lunch, $100 CAOHC fee and notebook of slides.
